The students are writing back to their pen-pals in AZ. They are also writing their own bad day stories.

We have started reading Sideways Stories from Wayside School by Louis Sachar. The students really seem to be enjoying the book.

Students are working in their literature circles. As we read our stories we are learning about different ways to share what we are reading. The students are having so much fun sharing their books. Everyone needs to remember they are responsible for their job for literature circles.

Starting this week the students are going to be picking their spelling words from the books they are reading in literature circles.
